The real payoff on online surveys depends largely on which sites you join and how much time you are willing to invest. Getting paid to do online surveys to me was easy money. Instead of using my free time spending money, I did online surveys and EARNED money.
It didn't happen overnight, but I was earning close to a third of what I earned at my regular job within a just few months. I spent an average of two to three hours at a time each day after work and actually liked it. I would have my dinner in front of the computer and just check off the questions as I ate.
If I had continued doing online surveys, I would probably be making four times as much as I was making then. But I got the attention of a publisher from some of my writings and after that, I have devoted all my free time to writing. But at the time, I was seriously thinking of quitting my job and just doing online surveys.
So I have a new career now that demands much of me. But for those of you looking to make extra money or want to build up a channel of online surveys, I know for a fact that you can make decent money. I don't think you'll be able to take an early retirement, but I'm telling you, it does pay well once you get the hang of it and get established.
